Activate an app on a workspace

Apps live inside a workspace. You activate them one at a time on the workspaces that need them. The action is Activate, performed from /my-apps.

Who can do this: only the workspace Owner. Workspace Admins cannot activate apps. If you're an Admin and need an app turned on, ask the Owner.

#Where to start

  1. Sign in to the workspace where you want the app.
  2. Open /my-apps.

The page shows:

  • Apps already activated in this workspace.
  • Apps available to activate, with the plan options for each.

#Activate an app

  1. Find the app in the available section.
  2. Pick a plan. The Free plan is enough to try it out; paid plans unlock more capacity.
  3. Click Activate.

If the plan you picked is paid, Zendrhax sends you to checkout. After payment goes through (or instantly if you picked Free), the app appears as activated on this workspace and you can open it.

#Activation requests

When a member who is not the Owner tries to use an app they don't have access to, they can click Request access. The request lands on the app's detail view (/my-apps/{slug}) where the Owner approves or denies. There is no separate inbox for these requests — they live alongside each app's user-access management UI.

#Open an activated app

  • From /my-apps, click Open on the app card.
  • Or click an app widget on your dashboard if the app surfaces one.

When you're inside an app, its sidebar takes over the navigation. The profile menu top-right still gets you back to platform-level pages, including switching workspaces.

#Change the plan of an activated app

The plan picker for each app is exposed by the app's own settings or via /my-apps → app card. Some plan changes take effect immediately; others (especially downgrades) wait for the next billing cycle so paid usage isn't cut off mid-period. The app's own help page documents the specifics.

#Stop being charged: Cancel

To stop being billed for an app on this workspace:

  1. Open /my-apps.
  2. Find the activated app and click Cancel.

The subscription is cancelled and the recurring charge stops at the next renewal. The app stays activated and your data stays intact, so a later Resume brings everything back without re-onboarding.

#What's in the catalogue depends on the platform admin

The platform admin maintains the available-apps catalogue. If you don't see an app you expected, it may not be published yet, not be available on your country / plan tier, or already be activated in a different workspace. Switch workspaces and check again, or contact support.

#Native clients

Some apps also ship with native clients for Android, iOS and Windows. The native client signs into the same account, sees the same workspaces, and works on the same data as the web app. Activation always happens in the web app — once an app is active on a workspace, the native client picks it up automatically on next sign-in.
